Computer Terminals on Campus


In addition to the computers in the Library and all campus computer labs, there are one or more terminals in the following locations for students in need of computer access to register on Cougar Trail on the Web.

CampusWide Wireless Network
High-speed access to the College’s network and the is available on campus for students with suitably equipped laptop computers or Personal Data Assistant (PDA) device. Wireless network cards may be purchased at the Circulation Desk in the library. Library computer lab staff will set up laptops and PDAs at no charge.

Staff Support
Trained personnel are on duty to help students with hardware and software questions.

Optical Scanning
Two flatbed scanners in each computer lab.

Lab use eligibility
Any student possessing a valid, current College ID card may use the student computing centers. They should bring a 3.5’’ HD (high density) diskette, an Iomega 100 Mb Zip Disk or USB memory stick on which to save data. Computer work for classes is given priority over games. Users are only allowed to work on projects directly related to their classes at the College. Students can call with any questions about computer use and etiquette.
