Students register each semester beginning on a specified date
determined by the student’s number of earned hours. Students
must register via Cougar Trail. Students are strongly encouraged
to see an advisor prior to registering. After registering, students
may make course changes during the official drop/add period.
After the drop/add date, students must initiate the proper paperwork
to add or withdraw from courses. Failure to attend class does
not constitute an official withdrawal from the course and will
result in an “F” in the course. For information
on tuition reimbursement (when applicable), please contact the
Treasurer’s Office at (843) 953-5572.
NOTE: Students in joint programs with the Citadel, the University of South Carolina and Clemson University should be aware that these schools have academic calendars different from College of Charleston. Please check their calendars frequently.
