Advising Transfer Students

If you are currently a student at another college or university, follow these steps to ensure a complete application:

• Apply to the College of Charleston using the online system. Indicate on the application that you want to apply to the Honors College
• Complete the separate Honors College application that links from the College of Charleston application[Larry, can we make this a live link that goes to the Honors College application]
• Make sure to request one letter of recommendation from a college professor and have it sent to the Honors College
• Make sure to include a sample of your writing that was completed at your current institution (this is in place of the traditional essays)
• Once grades have been released for your current semester, the committee will review your application and notify you of your status with the Honors College
